  • Finely spaced layers each act as a reservoir resulting in constant and uniform water displacement throughout the entire area
  • Developed at one of Britain's leading flower research and development centres, ensuring the product provides a reliable service
  • Transports water quickly & evenly over flat surfaces, allowing a number of plants to be very easily watered
  • Creates a humid atmosphere
  • Matting can be sterilised by gentle steam cleaning & will not react to most proprietary brands of algicides
  • Developed for greenhouses, indoor plants, seed trays etc.
  • Prevents over-watering
  • This versatile material absorbs and holds water which can be drawn up by soil in pot plants positioned on the matting
  • The materials used in the production of Capillary plant matting are non-phytotoxic. It is easily cleaned giving more than one seasons service
  • Plants take up water direct from the root base as they need it
  • Can be used either side
  • The white side aids ripening during summer months and reflects the light
  • The darker side absorbs light during the winter months (on occasion the colour may be grey depending on availability)
  • Capillary rise: 7cm or more depending on water softness
  • Thickness: Approx 2.25mm +/- 10%
