Bespoke, Modular Bunding for Sale or Hire

A novel modular bunding system allows bunds to be installed to bespoke dimensions. The modular nature allows construction and disassembly after use.  The economies achieved by the system are further enhanced by the availability of the bunds on sale or hire.

The system was specified on the only fracking site constructed in the UK, where the sensitive environmental nature of the installation was paramount. Construction, demolition, waste management, power stations and refinery sites have also installed the system.

The economic nature of the installation has met tests and approval from the Environment Agency on site to demonstrate compliance with oil and aggressive liquid storage rules.

Aegean North Sea Services required secondary containment to comply with the current Oil Storage Regulations for storage tanks installed temporarily on the quay for hydrocarbon and petrochemical waste from offshore rigs are held offshore. They needed to be impermeable, assembled on the quayside at short notice, manoeuvred into bund during assembly and dismantled and removed when the job was completed.
